I know yesterday I had the China Glaze On The Shore swatches and I said I wasn’t really a swatcher well today I have some more to show you. P2 Sand Style Collection and these are something special.
P2 is a German Brand and I did have to have this specially sent to me but it is sold for pocket money prices (E1.95 each) and are a good alternative to the OPI Liquid Sands and also Zoya Pixie Dust.
These Sand Style polishes dry to a glittery textured matte finish which is a little rough to the touch but truly magic to look at. As with most matte polishes these dry quickly and these pictures show just one generous coat of polish! If you don’t like the textured effect then you can apply a topcoat although these polishes are very thirsty and will probably need 2-3 thick coats. You don’t lose any of the glittery magic with a glossy finish though! I cannot say how delighted I am with this polishes and if I do find a stockist for easy UK purchase I will let you all know!
There are six polishes in this collection (although I only have 5 as one is apparently super popular at the moment)
Thumb: Strict – this is a stunning graphite coloured grey with larger silver glitter particles.
Index: Confidential – a blackened blue with silver and red twinkles.
Middle Finger: Seductress – this mauve has copper and gold flashes and is my second favourite of the collection, which is a surprise as I am not really big on purple.
Ring Finger: Illegal – Rich bright red with a ruby sparkle to rival Dorothy’s shoes.
Pinky: Lovesome – Gorgeous vibrant raspberry with golden flecks, this is all ready for the summer!
I have been wearing this for about a day and a half now and have experienced no shrinkage, chips or general wear (which is surprising as I was in an application frenzy to get these beauties onto my fingers. I really hope P2 make more of these polishes at some point and also that we will be able to easily get them in the UK without calling in too many favours.
It does take a while to get used to having textured tips but I am glad I braved it for these because look how pretty!!!! Sorry, will go away now.
