I spy with Goldeneye

Today I have a simple mani to share with you that I did to test out a new method that I came across on youtube. Now, typically I have definitely lost the link to the tutorial but it’s out there somewhere. This method is used for a pebble dash design and also as an alternative for water spotting. You basically paint on your base colour and when the last coat of this is still wet you use the brush from one of your other colours to add spots to your manicure – don’t overload the brush and the polish will self level. You can do this with multiple colours – just be sure to have all the lids open as you do need to work quick.

I used Nails Inc New York Noir which is free with this months glamour magazine for just £2! Also in this magazine is a bodyshop voucher which can be worth from £3-100 so this is well worth the investment. Would you believe this is just one glossy coat? Phwoar.

To add my glitzy dots I just used OPI Goldeneye from last years Skyfall Collection – it’s so glitzy and beautiful. I am so grateful to my lovely friend Cazzy for sending this beauty to me! As you can see, it is in a very loving home.

So there we go 🙂
