Tara’s Talons: Happy Elf

TarastalensDoing my best to work through my Ciate Mini Mani Month collection  – can you tell? This is Play Date and is a lovely soft red – there is a touch of coral in the base but I would still think of this as a red personally. Application was pretty good – I used two coats here. The Ciate brush is actually quite nice to work with on these minis – a lot of minis don’t have very nice brushes but this one works really well and doesn’t feel too short or too minuscule. Well done Ciate!

Can’t really think of anything more to say about this polish, it’s nice!

I decided to add one of my glitter toppers from my Tara’s Talons Christmas Calendar – this is called Happy Elf is is a predoinantly white glitter mix, with some smaller pastel pink pieces, some grey and large black holo hearts which are super pretty. I used two thin coats which gave a nice even spread across my nails. This mani makes me think of Minnie Mouse and I think is great for the spring with its bright colour contrasting the black and white glitter.

Tarastalens4Tara is now the longest running UK Indie* (*non factory produced) and is well known for her unique combinations, limited edition and one off polishes. She’s a lovely lady and also offers a custom service. If that wasn’t enough, she now offers a range of other beauty products, fashion accessories and much much more over on TheTaraEmporium. One of her pamper kits is part of my blogiversary prize (don’t forget to enter!!) and she currently has a discount until the end of the month ’27SLEEPS’ which gives 27% off both her website and Etsy store.
