Rainbow Series with Imagination In Colour: Pardon my purple

Purple5 Emma and I may have both forgotten about the rainbow post this week… BUT here we go, we got there eventually. We’re right at the end of our rainbow now with only pink left to go. I am not sure what our next series will be but I know that I have enjoyed this one a lot so hopefully there will be another. On to today – PURPLE also known as one of my least favourite colours. There are a growing number of polishes that are exceptions to this hideous bias of mine. I would say it is mainly lilacs and lavenders that are on my hit list so these warmer darker shades are permitted and aren’t they beautiful?!

Purple3This is a combination of OPI Casino Royale and Butter London Lovely Jubbly in one of my favourite easy nail art designs which can easily done on both hands and if you’re worried about wobbly lines then just use a little tape. Casino Royale is a really lovely crelly formula from the Skyfall collection – there have been a few similar colours released by OPI and other brands but I really love this polish. I am wearing two coats here and it dries to a perfect shine all by itself. Until recently, I had no Butter London in my collection and now I have five… two from TK Maxx and three from a sale on Cute Cosmetics.

Purple4 Lovely Jubbly is a stunning glitter polish packed with purple and gold and blue and pink – it is insanely dense. I only used one swipe for these nails which tells you just how much glitter they have packed into this polish and unbelievably it doesn’t really dry that textured and topcoat smoothed it down completely. It twinkles like MAD. Dancing fingers!

In case this wasn’t enough purple for you, I thought I would add a few links to other polishes and manis I have done so you can check them out 😀

Don’t forget to check out Emma’s post HERE for more amazing purple polishes!
