L is for Love Love

Hello everyone! I hope you’re enjoying the week with Stephanie, I am just popping in for the AtoZ series. My nail mojo remains missing but I did create a look for you today using of the new Bubblegum finish polishes from Moyra. These are described as soft matte candy colours and I think that’s a really good description. I actually got two of these polishes – pink Love Love and yellow Lemoncello. The formula on these does seem to like bald spotting and I found this worked best applied in thicker coats with time between each to dry. Once I got the hang of this polish I really liked it – I don’t think it’s a bad formula, just different from my normal application. I am wearing two coats here – as you can see the coats aren’t SUPER thick and the formula itself has a fairly average consistancy.

For a fun look I wanted to create a  heart that looked kind of smokey trails or like semi opaque silk. I used acrylic and water to create the varying opacities.

I couldn’t resist seeing how this looked topcoated so here you go – one coat of HK Girl. I am not very used to matte finish so I did prefer this particular mani this way BUT I am overall pleased with the two polishes I have from this line (I have tried Lemoncello). I really want to try using these to stamp soon because they are pretty pigmented! I’ll try and make sure I share my further conclusions and findings on this polish soon. Sorry to have been so absent and a bit of an unhappy blogger lately, I am so appreciative to Steph for looking after the blog and coming up with so many lovely things to share. I hope you’re enjoying her posts as much as I am! Don’t forget to check out more from this series on the AtoZ Series over on the Hub Page.

Pretty pink and I like how the nail art flows through the nails too.

I love reading your thoughts and will always do my best to reply, thank you!
