Holiday Roses

Disclaimer: Some items used were sent for honest review

Hello everyone! So it has been a busy couple of months for me – I spent nearly ALL of November staying in New Jersey with the lovely Stephanie who writes Stephanie says HOWEVER I have always had the intention of coming back to blogging. I was planning to start in the new year because I know how busy the holiday season is for people BUT Born Pretty Store sent me a lovely package of goodies to try out and well… I couldn’t resist.

Acne treatment has now finished but my skin is still re-adjusting so please forgive the dryness on my fingers… also, yes, we’re back to nubbins as I wanted to grow out some fresh and healthy length ready for the new year.

So here I am showing off these adorable rose nail art stickers but before I talk about those let me tell you quickly about the base mani. I used an untried OPI from my collection for the dark red in this mani, this is Mrs O’Leary’s BBQ which is from the 2008 Chicago collection and is an original black label… complete with non-prowide brush. I love the ox blood colour and it applied fairly well but UGH the brush sucks. I am so all about the OPI pro-wide. For my accent nail I used OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby. which is my FAVOURITE gold polish to wear on its own, it is a satin finish but here I topcoated to bring out the sparkle. I stamped using the same polish and MoYou Holy Shapes 08 plates. I used the BPS replacement stamping head and it worked perfectly this time – I was super impressed! I have lost my favourite stamper so it was great to have this one.

These adorable rose stickers are just perfect – they come in a range of sizes and slightly different designs then lay nearly perfectly flush to the nail, with topcoat you wouldn’t know they were stickers! There’s enough stickers on the sheet that you’re going to get a few manis out of these and the price point is really very good – just $1.11! I picked out TJ004 but here are a few of the options available:

Don’t forget I have a discount code for full price items: XPG10 and that Born Pretty Store has free international shipping worldwide.

I hope you like these little festive nails – are you in the holiday spirit? Stay safe and happy and I will be back in the New Year and hopefully have my camera and lighting set up back to normal and my nails will be all good to go!
