Guest Post: Galaxy Mani from Penny Pinching Polish

Hi everyone, I’m Sarah from Penny Pinching Polish, and I’ll be taking over Charlie’s blog today – exciting! 😀 I was really pleased when Charlie asked if I fancied guest posting, and immediately said yes.  Then I spent the next day or 2 racking my brains to try and decide what I wanted to do.  I knew I wanted to use one of Charlie’s fabulous Glitter Babies, so I worked from there…..

I decided to use what has to be one of my all-time favourite glitter toppers, Alien Like You in an OTT galaxy mani.  I started with a base of Sinful Colors – Black on Black, and then sponged on the galaxies with Kleancolor Metallic Pink, Aqua, and Sapphire.  I sponged a little bit of Color Club – Miss Bliss on the pink sections too, but all the holo got swallowed by the metallic base.

Then I added 1 coat of Alien Like You, being careful to try and place the big circles near the edges of the galaxy belts, and top coated the whole thing.  Sorry about the stupid little fibre that decided it wanted to be part of the macro shot too – there’s always one!

I was pleased with how this mani turned out; it was so sparkly in real life.  I know it might be a bit much for some people, but personally, I love loud colours and big glitters, so this is right up my street.  Hopefully some of you guys do too 😀
